Aduda wants residents to support newly elected council bosses

Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda has urged residents of Wako community in Kwali Area Council, Abuja, to support the newly elected area council chairmen so that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) can move forward.
Addressing elders when he attended the wedding Fatiha of the daughter of Chief of Wako community, Alhaji Ibrahim D. Usman, at his palace on Saturday, Aduda advised residents to accept the results of the recently held elections.
The senator representing the FCT said the residents should love one another and work together so that the government will provide meaningful infrastructures needed in the community.
He said: “We should keep our differences aside. We are brothers and friends. We know each other because we grew up together. We should join hands with the newly elected chairman to move the council forward.”
Responding, the chief of Wako, Alhaji Ibrahim D. Usman, told the senator that he would continue to maintain peaceful coexistence among the people of his chiefdom.
